A 51-metre viewing lift transports visitors to the bottom of the gorge and into a wonderland of unspoilt forest beauty.
With its steep, rocky walls, waterfall, trees and sweeping views of the Lowveld, the Graskop Gorge is a Panorama Route gem. The lift gives unrivalled views of the scenery as it slowly descends and ascends the cliff face.
At the bottom of the ravine, walkways and suspension bridges beckon visitors to explore the rivers and forest while interpretation boards provide information on the environment.
Once back at the top, visitors can enjoy a bite to eat at tables cleverly placed to maximise views, enjoy a drink at the bar or round off a relaxing outing with some retail therapy – including an array of superior local crafts - while the little ones are entertained at the children’s play area.
